Lawal law Firm is pleased to welcome a new partner to its Paris office, Lyudmila Weyer, who will head the public commercial, town planning and energy law departments.
Lyudmila will strengthen the firm’s expertise in construction and real estate law, particularly for clients in the construction, accommodation and industrial sectors.
With a solid background in general law (Sciences Po, 2000), in international law (DEA in international and European economic relations, Nanterre 2002) and in public law (DESS in town planning, construction and public works law, Paris I 2003), Lyudmila was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2004. She first collaborated with the law firms Sur & Mauvenu and De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés, before setting up her own law firm specialising in public town planning and construction law, regularly representing her clients, developers, architects registered with the Mutuelle des Architectes Français and public authorities.
Lyudmila has also conducted an intermediary practice for real estate transactions and has been involved in several international transactions.
Lyudmila is also the author of several leading works on urban law and public contracts law (including “Délégations de service public en pratique“, “Les participations d’urbanisme en 180 questions” and “Le permis de démolir“, published by Le Moniteur) and provides training in these areas (Groupe Moniteur, Dalloz, EFE).
Lyudmila’s firm is also widely recognised (ranked as a ‘renowned firm’ in Development and Construction Law – Architectural Law and as a ‘quality firm’ in Real Estate Law – Real Estate Taxation, Leaders League 2023).
Lyudmila has been a professor of Hydropower Law in the Master Droit de l’énergie at the University of Paris -1 (2013-2021) and the University of Lyon -3 (2021-2023).
Lyudmila works in French, English and Russian and is also fluent in Dutch and Italian.
