Letterio Buta

Letterio works primarily in the areas of civil litigation, business crisis law, and Corporate M&A.

Admitted to the Milan Bar in 2022 and holding a PhD in Civil Law from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, he has developed solid expertise in civil law, civil procedure, and insolvency and restructuring law, with particular focus on medical liability, the patrimonial liability of individuals, and insolvency proceedings.

He graduated with honours in Law from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and completed two research periods as a visiting researcher at Humboldt University of Berlin, strengthening a comparative legal background with an international scope.

During his academic activity, he has served as a teaching assistant and lecturer in civil law and private law at the Università Cattolica of Milan and Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, contributing to the training of students and practitioners.

He is the author of several scholarly publications in Italian legal journals and of a monograph entitled Il credito concorsuale and has taken part in national and international conferences. He also serves on the editorial boards of leading Italian legal journals.

He heads the non-profit association Officina dell’in-Utile, promoting cultural and social initiatives in the Abruzzo region.

He is fluent in English and has working knowledge of German, useful in international advisory work and academic collaborations.
